"Gentlemen, you can't fight in here! This is the war room!"

Fullmetal Alchemist (Brotherhood/manga) always had a hoard of likable characters for me. I can't really think of any characters that I didn't find interesting or likeable.

Even the minor, secondary characters, and villans were at a minimum, not boring.

On second thought, the only real boring one I can think of is Sloth, but... his name is Sloth, so what were you expecting?

I like Pokémon

I recently finished this on Netflix , it's 24 episodes with a second season on the way - Seven Deadly Sins. Their is a cast of about 8 or so main characters and each is pretty likable in my opinion, so much so that I started and finished the show within 3 days. It's a bit cliche but hey give it a try.

Man, Seven Deadly Sins is right up there with Fairy Tails, Narutos, One Pieces & Bleaches in tems of cliched, stereotypical, borderline annoying characters that subsist of Nakama no Chikara, Tomo Tachi, all dat BS that embody garbage-side of Shounen

You dont get to say that. I dont know about you, but I refuse to allow my intelligence to be insulted by cliched, stereotypical works. Naruto, Bleach, Fairy Tail, OP, AoT, SDS are just embodiment of such "posterior works"

Compared to some genuinely good shows as Death Note, FullMetal Alchemist: BrotherHood, Hunter Hunter 2011, Monster, C.Geass, Btoom that represent "best of Japanese animation".

I will watch quality anime shows. Not junks. Which is why I made this topic. Getting some reccomendations on anime with extensive likable characters. Good shows are backed by strong cast of characters. Hence, my post

Can I ask what exactly you mean by that? Because I do not see what separates what you like from what you don't like and "Likable characters" doesn't give me enough information to accurately gauge that, nor do the examples given. Like what are you looking for in "likable characters?" What gets you to like a character? Are you sure it's even characters you want and not something else?

And how the heck does Death Note fit into this "Extensive likable characters" archetype? I mean, You have Light Yagami... and L... Ryuk too... Naomi was well liked.... and that's literally it, everyone else ranges from doing their part well enough to outright annoying. I mean how many people really care about Near or Mellow for example? That show is pretty much all L and Light, and the second half experiences a massive down turn in enjoyment

I analyzed what made classic series of 90's (tired of listing their names again) & found out those shows were backed by extensive cast of likable characters.

Likable in the sense of being both distinct & fun. They dont fall under the "stereotypical" pitfalls.

Dats all I look for. If a film makes an impression, the cast (actors, actresses, behind-the-screen crew members) must be applauded for carving a niche.

Like-wise, anime with great primary & secondary cast of characters, backed by talented seiyuus would bring life to even darkest anime out there.

I listed Death Note cuz I felt upon repeated watching, it does present a reasonably solid cast. You may have your personal preferences, but I personally liked Near & Mello compared to L.

Dont misunderstand though. I merely gave few examples of "good" shows to Accelerator to counter his somewhat sarcastic post of suggesting me to stop watching anime. Why shouod I? I appreciate "quality" stuffs & dats all matters

DN doesnt really have 99% of likable characters as say, DB or HXH or Inuyasha. Different genre, different treatment.

@Accelerator

I refuse to undermine my intelligence by involving with trolly posts from a person who refuses to respect me. Keep posting with your blue-ish butterfly wings colour font
